Climb sideways using the sticks, moving the forward hand to the next stick before moving the back hand. Participants can generate momentum as needed to swing far enough sideways for each transition. They may also choose to climb facing forward almost like climbing forward across a single overhead bar. This is an upper body workout, with some engaging of core muscles depending on the amount of swinging.
